Utterly fabulous! I read the short story, ” Imperial Chrysanthemum” and cannot wait to get my hands on a copy of Mattaponi Queen (How do you underline on this thing?!!?). Love also reading your blog now….and getting some insight into your process and feelings about what you write. So fascinating watching the creative person …. I will never tire of it….and will never tire of seeing names (like you, Belle) of students…and finding out who they are. This was the best part of teaching….peering into the souls of those who could allow me in…. to peer. Never felt like a peeker-in-a-window kind of vouyeur….always felt slightly empathetic and eager and happy all at once… so happy to have a window into your world, my Belle………
HURRAH TO BELLE BOGGS!
Thank you, Pat! You are also thanked in the book.

Belle Boggs is a trememdously talented and entertaining writer and reader. She was at my bookclub’s SHOW and Tell Author Party in Aug. this year. Everyone there thoroughly enjoyed her.
I know she will go far in this “bookish “world.
Thank you, Suzanne! I hope you’ll look me up if you’re in the Chapel Hill area!
